Business broadband & leased lines

Fast, reliable connections, watched by the people who fix them

Connectivity, done properly

The connection everything else depends on

Your phones, Microsoft 365, card machines and cloud systems all run over one connection. When it slows or drops, everything stops. We supply business-grade broadband and leased lines, and then we keep an eye on them for you.

Because we also look after your IT and phones, there's one number to call when something isn't right. No more being bounced between a broadband provider, a phone company and an IT supplier, each blaming the others.

  • Monitored around the clock. We check every line we supply every few minutes. If one drops, we're alerted and on it, often before you've noticed.
  • We deal with the network for you. Faults are raised and chased with the carrier by us, not left to you on hold.
  • Ready for the switch-off. Every option here works without the old copper phone line, so you're covered for January 2027.

Check what's available at your address

We'll run a line check and tell you which connections you can get, the speeds to expect and what we'd recommend. No obligation.

We usually reply within the hour during office hours.

Your options

The right connection for how you work

We'll check your address and recommend the best option available there. Here's what the main choices mean.

Full fibre (FTTP)

Fibre all the way to your building, with download speeds up to 1 Gbps. The best choice for most offices where it's available, and it's spreading fast across Sussex.

SoGEA

Fibre broadband without a phone line, for addresses where full fibre hasn't arrived yet. Speeds up to 80 Mbps, and it's the straightforward replacement for older broadband ahead of the switch-off.

Leased lines

A dedicated fibre connection used only by you. The same speed up and down, guaranteed bandwidth, and priority fault fixing. For businesses that can't afford to be offline.

Backup connections

A second line that keeps you online if the main one goes down. Ideal alongside a leased line, or for sites where an outage would stop work completely.

Speeds depend on what's available at your address. Our line check tells you exactly what you'll get before you commit.

The old phone network switches off on 31 January 2027. Older broadband that relies on a copper phone line (ADSL and FTTC) has to move before then. We'll check your lines and move them to full fibre or SoGEA without downtime.

FAQs

Broadband questions

What's the difference between full fibre and SoGEA?

Full fibre (FTTP) runs fibre all the way into your building and is much faster, up to 1 Gbps. SoGEA uses fibre to the street cabinet and the existing copper for the last stretch, without needing a phone line. Where full fibre is available we'll usually recommend it; where it isn't, SoGEA is the reliable stop-gap.

Do I need a leased line?

Most small offices don't. Full fibre is fast and good value. A leased line makes sense when the connection is business-critical, when lots of people rely on cloud systems at once, or when you need the same fast speed for uploads as downloads. We'll tell you honestly which you need.

Will I lose my phone number?

No. Broadband without a phone line is designed to work alongside internet-based (VoIP) phones, and we can move your existing numbers over. See our Voice over IP page.

How long does installation take?

Full fibre and SoGEA are usually installed within a few weeks of ordering, depending on whether an engineer visit is needed. Leased lines take longer, often a couple of months, because a dedicated fibre has to be built to your building. We'll give you a date as soon as we have one.

What contract lengths are there?

Most business broadband is on 12 or 18 month contracts, often with free standard installation, and some lines are available on shorter terms. We'll show you the options for your address.

Do you only supply connections to IT support clients?

No, anyone can come to us for broadband or a leased line. You'll still get the same monitoring and the same local team when something goes wrong.
