Cyber security

From a Cyber Essentials certified team

Protection that's proven

We hold ourselves to the standard we set for you

Cloud 4 Sure is Cyber Essentials certified across the whole organisation. It's the UK government-backed scheme that proves the basic controls stopping most cyber attacks are in place. We run your security to that same standard.

Most attacks on small organisations aren't clever. They get in through an unpatched laptop, a reused password or a phishing email that someone clicked. We close those doors for you, keep them closed, and show you the evidence.

What's included

Managed security, done properly

Run and monitored by us. Antivirus, patching and monitoring come with every fixed-price support contract.

Managed antivirus

Microsoft Defender rolled out, switched on and watched on every machine, with old or expired antivirus removed.

Patching within 14 days

Windows and app updates applied automatically, with critical fixes inside the 14-day window Cyber Essentials requires.

Accounts & MFA

Multi-factor sign-in on Microsoft 365 and admin accounts, with everyday users kept off admin rights.

Backup you can restore

Daily backup of email, files and servers, tested so it works on the day you need it.

Email & phishing protection

Filtering that stops dangerous emails and links before they reach your staff's inboxes.

Exploited-vulnerability alerts

We check your software against the government's list of actively exploited flaws and fix exposures first.

24/7 monitoring

Every PC and server is watched around the clock. Most issues are fixed automatically before anyone notices.

Evidence & reporting

Asset registers and security reports you can hand to insurers, auditors, Ofsted or the CQC.

Cyber Essentials for your organisation

Need your own certificate? We'll get you there

Cyber Essentials is increasingly asked for in tenders, by insurers and by local authorities, and schools and care providers are being pushed towards it. We've just been through it ourselves, so we know exactly what assessors ask.

1

Readiness check

We review your devices, accounts, firewall and updates against the current question set and give you a plain-English gap list.

2

Fix the gaps

We sort the failures: unsupported software, missing updates, admin rights, passwords and MFA. Most of it is done remotely.

3

Submit & pass

We help you answer the questionnaire accurately and handle the assessor's follow-up questions until the certificate is issued.

FAQs

Common questions

What is Cyber Essentials?

A UK government-backed certification showing your organisation has five basic security controls in place: firewalls, secure configuration, user access control, malware protection and security updates. It's a self-assessment questionnaire checked by an independent certification body.

Do small businesses really get attacked?

Yes. Most attacks are automated and untargeted. They scan for any unpatched machine or weak password, so small organisations with no IT team are often the easiest targets.

Is security included in your support contracts?

Yes. Antivirus, patching, monitoring and alerting are part of our fixed-price managed support. Backup and email filtering are priced per user or device, and we'll quote them up front.

How long does Cyber Essentials take?

Usually a few weeks from readiness check to certificate, depending on how many gaps need fixing. The assessment itself is normally marked within a few working days of submission.
