Domain renewal
Keep your website and email online
Domain names are registered for a fixed period and need renewing to stay active. If a domain lapses, the website and email that depend on it can stop working — so it's worth staying on top of.
If you've had a renewal reminder from us, you're in the right place. We look after renewals for the domains we manage, so in most cases there's nothing to do except confirm you'd like to carry on.

FAQs
Renewal questions
What happens if I don't renew my domain?
After it expires a domain goes through a grace period and then becomes inactive — your website and email can go offline, and eventually the domain can be released for someone else to register. Renewing on time is far easier and cheaper than recovering a lapsed domain.
How long does a renewal last?
Usually a year, though longer terms are available. Renewing for several years means fewer reminders and locks in continuity.
Can you just renew it automatically?
Yes — for the domains we manage we keep renewals on track so nothing lapses, and we always let you know in advance.
I got a domain renewal email — is it genuine?
If it came from us (cloud4sure.co.uk) and points to this page, yes. If you're ever unsure about a domain email, don't click any payment links — just call us on 01903 339955 and we'll check it for you. Fake renewal notices are a common scam.
